Terms of Service

Welcome to YumiConnect (“Yumi Connect”, “we”, “us”). These Terms govern your access to and use of our website, dashboard, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or making a payment, you agree to these Terms.

We’re a registered Indian sole proprietorship operating out of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Chennai.

1. Who can use Yumi Connect

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of forming a contract. If you sign up on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for every action taken under your account. Tell us at hello@yumi.app immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. The plans

• Starter (₹499 one-time) — card + branded QR + your yumiconnect.com/u/handle address.
• AR + Video (₹1,499 one-time setup) — everything in Starter plus the 3D AR view, intro video, and Snap & Link lead capture.
• CRM (₹599/month · or ₹4,999/year) — everything above plus the lead-board dashboard, CSV export, and Sync & Update across surfaces.
• Connect your own domain (₹199 one-time) — you point a CNAME, we set up SSL. One-time fee.
• We register a custom domain for you (₹1,299/year) — subject to availability; standard TLDs only.

Prices exclude applicable taxes (GST). We may change prices on 30 days’ notice for renewing subscriptions; one-time purchases are not affected.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Yumi Connect to publish content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, contains malware, or impersonates another person without consent. You also agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer the Service or use it to send unsolicited bulk messages.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of every photo, name, logo, and copy you upload. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, transmit, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you.

6. Lead-capture data

Visitors to your card who use Snap & Link voluntarily submit their own details and selfie. You are the data controller for those leads. You agree to handle them in line with the DPDP Act 2023 and only contact them for legitimate, related reasons.

7. Payments & renewals

Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments India Pvt. Ltd. You authorise recurring debits for any subscription you sign up to (currently the CRM plan and yearly domain add-ons). Cancel any time from your dashboard.

8. Refunds

See our Refunds policy. In brief: one-time plans refund within 7 days if you haven’t shared the link or printed the QR; yearly plans prorate on cancellation.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or remain unpaid for more than 14 days. On termination, we delete your card from public access immediately and retain backups for 90 days for recovery purposes.

10. Service availability & warranties

We work hard to keep the Service available 24/7, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill).

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. If the changes are material, we’ll email everyone with an active account at least 14 days before they take effect.
